Grammy Awards | Red Carpet Gallery:

       O red carpet dos Grammy Awards 2014 esteve repleto tanto de indumentárias fabulosas como de alguns modelitos inadequados para a ocasião.
       O vestido que mais chamou a atenção pela positiva, foi o da cantora Katy Perry. Katy optou por usar um Valentino, estampado com uma pauta musical, acabadinho de ser lançado. Super adequado para a ocasião.
       Outro vestido que também teve críticas favoráveis foi o de Taylor Swift. A cantora optou por um Gucci, ousando no brilhante sem virar uma alegoria de Carnaval ou até mesmo um enfeite de Natal.
       John Legend, Robin Thicke e os Daft Punk foram, sem dúvida, os gentlemen mais elegantes da noite.

     

     

The greatest winners:

            Os Daft Punk foram os grandes vencedores dos Grammy Awards 2014. O duo levou para casa cinco grammys: álbum do ano, single do ano, melhor performance pop de duo, melhor álbum de dance/eletrônica e álbum com melhor engenharia de som.
             Os segundos a arrebatarem mais prémios foram Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, vencendo nas categorias: artista revelação, melhor álbum de rap, melhor canção de rap e melhor performance de rap.

             Depois de um grande retorno ao cenário musical e de alguns altos e baixos no percurso do mesmo, Justin Timberlake venceu três categorias da 56ª edição dos Grammy Awards.

             Embora, com pouco tempo de carreira, Lorde já conta com dois Grammy Awards na sua colecção de prémios. A cantora agradeceu alguns cantores por serem a sua fonte de inspiração dentre os quais destacam-se: Katy Perry e Justin Timberlake.

             Alicia Keys venceu na categoria de melhor álbum de R&B com o bem elaborado: Girl On Fire ao passo que Unapologetic de RiRi foi eleito o melhor álbum urbano contemporâneo.

             O super talentoso Bruno Mars venceu na categoria de melhor álbum vocal pop com: unorthodox jukebox.

             Jay-Z que estava nomeado em nove categorias apenas levou um grammy para casa, o de melhor colaboração de rap.

             Taylor Swift surpreendentemente não venceu nenhum grammy award este ano.

People's Choice Awards 2014

   

         No passado dia 8 de Janeiro, decorreu em Los Angeles a 40ª edição do renomado People's Choice Awards. A cerimónia foi apresentada pelas actrizes: Kat Dennings e Beth Behrs e contou com apresentações ao vivo de: Sara Bareilles; One Republic e Brad Paisley. Entre os destaques da noite estiveram: Justin Timberlake e Britney Spears.
         Justin Timberlake foi o cantor mais premiado da noite, vencendo três categorias: "melhor artista masculino", "melhor artista de R&B" e "melhor álbum".
         Katy Perry levou para casa duas estatuetas: "melhor música" e "melhor clipe", tal como: Demi Lovato que também venceu duas categorias: "best female artist" & "favorite music fan following". Ambas não estiveram presentes na cerimónia. Demi alegou que está aproveitando o mês para tirar o máximo de tempo livre possível.
         Britney Spears foi eleita a mais bem vestida da noite e levou para casa o seu primeiro PCA, vencendo a categoria de melhor artista pop.
